UPDATE: The cars were secure and somehow were disarmed by these individuals using some kind of technology.
Hi Neighbors,
The Albertson Square Civic Association would like to bring to your attention an event that occurred Friday night into Saturday. It appears that many residents on Plainfield Rd and Hillvale Rd had their cars broken into that night. Suspects can be seen in the video below easily just getting into cars as if they have the key fobs on them. Some residents have also said their doorbell camera did not pick up the event happening. Some reported that nothing was taken but can tell their cars were searched.
Please be vigilant and remember to lock your car doors and bring the key fobs into your homes with you. Also, don't leave anything valuable in your cars.
